Pico de gallo (literal that means: rooster’s beak) is a standard Mexican raw dish created from chopped tomatoes, white onion, and chilis (usually jalapeños or serranos). Different components can also be added, corresponding to avocado, shrimp, lime juice, contemporary cilantro, radish, cucumber, or agency fruit corresponding to mango.

The flexibility of this salsa is limitless! Pico de gallo might be eaten as a stand-alone salad, or served with tacos, nachos, black beans, refried beans, or some other Mexican dish!

Notice: in the event you want a clean salsa as an alternative of chunky, put all of the components within the blender.

Weight Watchers Pico de Gallo recipe

Components
3 giant diced tomatoes
1/4 bunch of cilantro
1 diced medium sized onion
juice of half a lemon
1/2 teaspoon of minced garlic
2 jalapenos (or extra in the event you prefer it spicier)
1 tsp of salt
1 avocado, peeled and diced (elective)
half a cucumber, peeled and diced (elective)


Preparation
1. Wash the cilantro and tomatoes.
2. Cube the onions and tomatoes. Chop the jalapeno peppers, cilantro, and different elective components (cucumber, avocado).
3. Put all of the components in a bowl.
4. Add garlic, salt, and the juice of half a lemon. Combine it nicely and serve.
