Weight Watchers Baked Apples recipe

5 granny smith apples, cored, with a 1-inch strip of peel taken from the highest
1/2 cup blended dried fruit, chopped
2 tablespoons darkish brown sugar
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup oats
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 cup water
Preparation
1. Preheat the oven to 400 levels F.
2. In a bowl, combine the dried fruit, oats, cornmeal, sugar and spices.
3. Stuff the combination into the apple cavities.
4. Place the apples in a 9×9 baking pan and add water (and the spice combination that didn’t match into the apples, if any).
5. Bake for about an hour, checking periodically to verify the water shouldn’t be cooking away.
