A research carried out on the College of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil and described in an article printed within the journal Scientific Reviews reveals that anti-inflammatory medicine generally taken by youngsters could also be related to dental enamel defects (DEDs), at the moment seen in about 20% of youngsters worldwide.
The authors, who’re affiliated with the Ribeirão Preto Dental College (FORP-USP) and College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FCFRP-USP), investigated the results of celecoxib and indomethacin, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (NSAIDs) categorized by the World Well being Group (WHO) as step one on the analgesic ladder, alongside paracetamol.
